Where it began

The family experience behind the company

When her mother needed regular treatment, Chanda arranged her work around getting her to appointments. As her mother’s mobility changed and she began using a wheelchair, Chanda saw how transportation needs could change with it.

Later, she transported her father to and from treatment. These experiences showed her how much an appointment can ask of a family, from arranging transportation to keeping everyone informed.

During seven years of driving for Lyft, Chanda also met older adults and people with disabilities who needed additional assistance getting where they needed to go. The people she met, together with her family’s experience, helped shape her decision to build a healthcare transportation company in her community.

Chanda’s professional background includes technical service, equipment maintenance, manufacturing, and quality documentation. Her work has required careful preparation, troubleshooting, and attention to written procedures. She also holds an associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Wake Technical Community College.

She brings that attention to detail to the company she is building, alongside the personal understanding she gained while helping her parents.

What we want families to experience

We want patients to feel heard and families to understand the transportation plan. That begins with asking about mobility and assistance needs, confirming the arrangements, and identifying the person who should receive updates.

Our focus is scheduled healthcare transportation with assistance through the door. When a patient needs additional appointment support or someone to remain onsite, we discuss that need in advance and confirm what can be arranged. Wait-and-stay service requires a separate quote.
